For International students, especially privately financed students, financial support is very important. In order to support privately financed students, we SAGA University help applying to the scholarships or even have our own Scholarship Program.

 EXPLANATIONS

DATE OF INSERT：The date on which the scholarship was inserted.
ACADEMIC LEVEL：“院” stands for graduate students, “学部” stands for under graduate students, and “共通” stands for all students.
AMOUNT：Amount of the scholarship.
DEADLINE：The deadline of application.
Domestic Selection：“有” means there is a domestic selection, “無” means not.

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Application documents will never return so take a copy by yourself before submission if you need.
  • The result of domestic selection will be posted on this page about one month later from the deadline of application.
  • For those which recommendation from the University is required, Saga University cannot recommend the students of United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Kagoshima University. So please contact Kagoshima University if you wish to apply to these scholarships.
    These scholarships below are individual and deferent from each other. Please be careful not to be confused.

a. Kokusai-Geshukuya Scholarship (Saga Prefecture Scholarship Program for Privately Financed International Students) (20,000×10months)
b. Saga University Scholarship for International Students (20,000×10months)
c. Saga City Scholarship (20,000×12months)
d. Saga Prefecture Scholarship for International Students (32,000×12months)

For a, b and c, multiple recipient is NOT allowed.

If you apply for multiple scholarships, you must make sure you will cancel other scholarships right after you get selected to one.

a is advertised separately from others. b, c and d are advertised in the lump in March and April.
