Q. How can I enroll at Saga University?

A. How to enroll at Saga University depends on the form of study abroad. For the Forms of Study Abroad, please see “Status of International Student“. In order to enroll on the regular course of undergraduate or graduate, it is necessary to take the entrance exam. For details on how to take the entrance examinations, please see “Admissions  “. Acceptance by teacher of Saga University is required for research student’s application. If you have not had an acceptance by teacher yet, please find a teacher suitable for your research field from “Researcher Database ” and inquire about acceptance. For exchange students please see “SPACE“.

Q. Is there a dormitory for foreign students?

A. Yes. Saga University has an international exchange hall called International House. About International House, please see “HOUSING“.

Q. How can I move into the International House?

A. In every January and July, we recruit for tenants on the website of the International Exchange Promotion Center. About the application method etc, please confirm the recruitment information.

Q. Is there any scholarship for international students?

A. Yes. There are scholarships that you can apply before or after enrollment. For details, please refer to “Scholarships for International Students“.

Q. How can I get Japanese Government Scholarship?

A. Japanese Government scholarship has two types of recommendation of the embassy and recommendation of the university. For applications to the embassy recommendation, please contact the Japanese Embassy in the country where you are resident. Recommendation of university is recruited in December every year. Acceptance by teacher of Saga University is required for application. If you have not had an acceptance by teacher yet, please find a teacher suitable for your research field from “Researcher Database  ” and inquire about acceptance.
