About Travel restrictions against the Coronavirus

As of January 31, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan raised the travel alert of the entire area of Hubei Province, China including Wuhan to “Level 3: Avoid all travel” and also raised throughout China to “Level 2: Avoid all nonessential travel.” As the infection has spread outside of China, please get the latest information from reliable sources such as the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare website, and take precautions to avoid infection. Also the students who will plan to travel or return home, please be sure to submit “Report of temporary leave to my home country/outside Japan” to the International Affairs Division....

Correspondence after returning home due to infection caused by a new coronavirus

At present, the infection is expanding mainly in Wuhan City, Hubei province as we have multiple reports for outbreak of pneumonia related with the new coronavirus.
