Message from Director
CPIE serves the international community of Saga university, facilitating the intercultural and international connections for both foreign students in Japan and Japanese students abroad. Our goal is to create and enhance international exchange network, student exchange, researcher exchange, cooperating between the regional and international matters, living environment matters, etc. based on the memorandum of understandings for academic exchange.
Recently, the drastic changes around the international affairs have prompted us to formulate “Principles of Activities for International Affairs” at the CPIE in January 2022, which is a concrete strategy for education, research promotion, and cooperation between regional and international matters. It aims to promote the internationalization of our region via multilateral exchanges. Facing a future influenced by COVID-19, we will continue to promote an international environment using innovative approaches to establish a new normal where exchange and safety coexist. Besides, we are aiming to create and transmit world-class research outcomes, using Saga’s regional characteristics while cultivating the abilities of its diverse student body.
The CPIE will play a fundamental role connecting students and researchers, in both regional and international levels.
