Overseas Travel Risk Management
Saga University requires the following procedures for a risk management when faculty, staff, or students travel abroad.
When faculty and staff travel abroad(Business trip, program leading, etc.)
If you need to travel overseas (business trip, etc.), you must submit an overseas travel notification.
After submitting the form online, you will receive an email with the receipt of the form.

When Students travels abroad to participate in a program conducted by Saga University
When a student travels abroad as part of a program conducted by the University, the following procedures must be followed for risk management.
Examples of students’ dispatch that require to take procedures
- Education program that grants credits, Education program that doesn’t grant credits.
Examples of students’ dispatch that is not applicable to this flow
- Personal travel (Study abroad to learn a language, Working Holiday, etc.), Individual travel for thesis writing, etc.
⇒A student must enroll in a travel insurance by him/herself, and submit “Report of Overseas Travel” to the Student Affairs Division. International students must submit a “Temporary Travel Notification” online to the Office for Students Exchange. - Traveling along with a faculty member’s a business trip (considered as a business trip)
⇒A student must enroll in a travel insurance on your own and contact the Office for International Planning.

About Temporary Leave to Your Home Country/outside Japan
When you go outside Japan or temporarily go back to your home country, you must submit “Report of temporary leave to my home country/outside Japan” through the following URL (FORMS).

Submission deadline:2 weeks before the departure (except emergency)
*Be sure to obtain permission from your academic supervisor before submitting the report of temporary leave to my home country/outside Japan.
*For exchange student, please also contact the program coordinator.
