As economic measures due to the COVID-19, Japanese government provides people whose name is on the Basic Resident Register in Japan as of April 27th 2020, including foreign residents, with 100,000yen for each. Your town or city hall will send you an application form to the address registered and you’ll send back the duly filled application form to town or city hall.
