Application outlines for Saga University International House
(October 2022 Move-in)

1. Period of Residency
   –October 1, 2022 to September 15, 2023
2. Eligibility
   – An applicant must be an international student of Saga University or a prospective student who
   will enter in October 2022
   (Those who have/had lived in the Nan-yo Dormitory or the Int’l House cannot apply as a rule
   except applying for Family ②)
3. House details and Rent
   Type of room Building Facility / Equipment Rent per month
   Single Five-story Facility: Air-conditioner, Hot water, Kitchen,
   Bathtub and toilet
   Equipment: Refrigerator, Gas stove, Cupboard,
   Bed, Desk, Wardrobe, Bookshelf, Chair etc.
   Single Room(2F~5F)：8,200 yen
   Couple Room(3F~4F)： 12,300 yen
   Family Room①(1F~2F) ： 15,000 yen
   Family Room②(1F~4F) ：13,400 yen
   *A single room allows only one person.
   * Family room ② has straw-matted (TATAMI) room.
   * Family rooms can be shared with a friend. However, we prioritize the applicants who live
   with their families.
   * In case of moving from Couple room or Family ① to ②, period of stay is 3 years maximum
   * Utility fees (Power, Gas and Water) is charged to residents
   * In order to connect the Internet to the room, it is necessary to contract individually with the
   designated contractor
4. Application Process
   – Fill out below Application form and submit it by Email to International Affairs Division
   – The proxy application by supervisor is also allowed

5. Application Deadline
   – August 9 (Tue), 2022 (JST) 24:00
6. Screening
   – Saga Univ. Center for Promotion of International Exchange will screen students by
   examining of submitted documents. Please note that NOT all applicants will be permitted
   to move in
7. Notification of Results
   – The selection result of your application will be announced on the bulletin board in front of
   International Affairs Division office by the end of August.
   – For prospective students, we will send the result to your email written on Application form
8. Date of starting Move-in
   – After getting residence permission, you have to inform the time of move-in to International
   Affairs Division. The date of move-in should be between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on April 1.
