International Institutional Agreements and Student Exchange Agreements
- University-level agreement
- The university-level agreement is the ideological agreement countersigned by presidents (or someone with the authority as the head of a university) of both universities in order to execute academic exchanges of faculty members and students. The agreement itself consists of a document of agreement and a memorandum of understanding, except those which involve practical components concerning exchange projects or costs.
- The president should consult the Center for the Development of International Relations over any prospective agreement from an overseas university.
- The Center for the Development of International Relations bases their decision upon the quality of education and research of future-partner universities, the significant beneficial results of an international exchange, the effects from executing such an agreement, the components of international exchanges and future prospects
- After a draft of the agreement is approved by the Center for the Development of International Relations, the agreement should be signed by the president on behalf of the University. The president should report immediately to the Education Research Council.
- Faculty-level agreement
- The faculty-level agreement, which includes formal agreements at division and Faculty Centers, is an agreement to be implemented with international institutes or faculties of overseas universities’ in order to promote student and research collaborations.
- Items on the faculty-level agreement must be written by the faculty.
