Saga University international students, Erjon Krasniqi (from Kosovo) and Tuhin Atiqur Rahman (from Bangladesh), made great presentations about their home countries. They talked about their countries’ history, culture and traditional food and clothes, etc. in their presentations. Participants in this event were listening in fascination. In the end of their presentations, there was short lessons of Albanian and Bengali. Even though it might have been the first time to hear those languages for many participants, they tried hard to repeat and say new phrases.

July 13th (Tue) Movie Night

We watched a movie called “Green book” together. Although it is a comedy movie, the movie describes racial discrimination as well. A participant says “It is a difficult problem and we don’t think or talk about it often. So it was a opportunity to think and exchange our opinions.”
