Japanese government provides you with 100,000yen

As economic measures due to the COVID-19, Japanese government provides people whose name is on the Basic Resident Register in Japan as of April 27th 2020, including foreign residents, with 100,000yen for each.
Your town or city hall will send you an application form to the address registered and you’ll send back the duly filled application form to town or city hall. If you have My Number (Individual number) card, you can do it online. Regarding the payment, in principle, it is to be transferred to an applicant’s bank account. The reception start date and the payment start date may differ depending on city or town where you live (In case of Saga city, the date is still undecided). Application deadline will be within 3 months after the application starts if you apply by post.
